HOW TO PREPARE FOR BROW LAMINATION?

Avoid tweezing or waxing at least one week prior to your appointment.

Avoid trimming your eyebrows prior to your appointment.

Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, or AHAs on your face one to two weeks before your brow lamination. 

Avoid using sunbeds minimum 48 hours prior to your appointment.

Clients must not have a sunburn.

Clients must not be pregnant and must be off of accutane for a minimum 1 year for lamination or waxing.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A BROW LAMINATION APPOINTMENT?

Brow Lamination is a two-step process. The first step is to apply a lifting solution to the eyebrows for approximately 2 - 4 minutes depending on the thickness of your brow hair. The second step is to apply a setting solution for approximately the same amount of time. In this step, we decide how the brow hair should sit and fix the hairs to the desired style. We discuss how natural or fluffy you would like the brows to appear, shape the brows into place and apply oil to your brow for the finished product.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Retinol products may not be used on or near the eyebrow area for a minimum of two weeks prior to a brow lamination appointment. You may use retinol on your face underneath the eyes, but please avoid the forehead.

Clients must not be pregnant and must be off of accutane for a minimum 1 year for eyebrow lamination.

A patch test is required before your first eyebrow lamination with Tanya. This test takes 2 minutes and is performed to ensure that there is no reaction to the products used. Clients have the option to contact Tanya to arrange a patch test prior to the appointment date to ensure there isn’t a reaction within 24 hours after. Clients may also have the patch test performed immediately before the appointment, and coming in prior to is not a requirement.
