Five Frequently Asked Questions About Microblading for Eyebrows

Eyebrows Microblading

If you are interested in microblading your eyebrows, you likely have several questions, and the following guide will provide you with answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive here at Wake Up Without Makeup :

1.Can I Cover An Existing Eyebrow Tattoo With Microblading?

Yes! More often than not, the artists at Wake Up Without Makeup are able to transform your existing eyebrow tattoo into a beautiful new eyebrow tattoo with Microblading. This will depend on how thick, dark, or unsymmetrical the existing eyebrow tattoo is. The extent of what can be done will vary because every face is different, as are the tattoos.

If you have an eyebrow tattoo and are thinking about microblading, you will need to email your artist photos of your eyebrows without makeup to determine whether this is a possibility for you. Once your photos are received, your artist will provide you with their professional opinion and recommendation.

2. Can I Get Microblading While Pregnant?

No. While there is little scientific research on the effects of tattoo ink and the pigments in connection to pregnancy, this option is not recommended. It is not worth taking the risk, regardless of how low the chance of risk may be.

It is best to wait to perform microblading until after your pregnancy and after breastfeeding, as this will reduce the risk to zero. Additionally, your weight may change after your pregnancy, which can change your skin and the appearance of your microbladed brows. Simply put, it is better to wait or speak with your health practitioner prior to considering microblading if you are pregnant.

3. What Kind Of Ink Is Used?

Many brands offer pigments that are designed specifically for eyebrow microblading.

At Wake Up Without Makeup, our artists use proven, trusted, and reputable pigments only. Your tattoo will not turn orange, pink, red, blue, or green, and instead will fade out with ash tones which is great considering most people have more ash than warmth in their natural hair colour. Our microblading pigments are completely safe for those with dye allergies and are 99.9% natural ingredients.

4. Do You Teach A Microblading Course?

Yes, we do! We will teach you everything you need to know about our technique, the process of microblading, and our training will ensure you are ready to take on clients of your own.

Our microblading courses will prepare you to work in the beauty industry, and you will learn all about proper techniques, skin types, and customized brow shaping. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information on enrolling in our courses.

5. What Is The Cost Of Microblading?

This, too, will vary from one artist to another and can depend on experience. When looking at different microblading artists, ask them to look at their previous work and see if they can work with your skin type.

You must find the right microblading artist for you to ensure they can provide you with the results you want. They need to be able to provide you with natural-looking brows that complement the overall appearance of your face.
