HOW TO PREPARE FOR MICROBLADING?

Caffeinated beverages are allowed the day of your appointment, however, please limit your caffeine intake the day of because this may increase your skin's sensitivity. It is also recommended that you do not take aspirin or ibuprofen, and you need to do your best to relax because this will help you get through your appointment.

Microblading is for those who want to achieve something more with their eyebrows and can be a great choice for men and women, and for all skin types. Microblading is the most natural way to achieve fuller eyebrows.
A few common reasons why people choose to get microbladed are; to fix uneven brows, loss of natural eyebrow hair, patches of eyebrow hair missing, or to achieve a better brow shape. Microblading is also a great choice for those with complete loss of eyebrow hair as a result of cancer, alopecia, trichotillomania, and other possible reasons.
Topical aesthetic agents are used before and during the procedure. Most people find the pain to be mild and bearable.
In most cases, the microbladed tattoo will look better and last longer with a touch-up appointment.
The touch-up is typically scheduled 6-8 weeks after your first appointment but can be scheduled at a later date if you cannot make it within the 6-8 week timeframe. The touch-up appointment is considered a perfecting and colour-adding session.
In some cases, the tattoo heals perfectly to the client’s satisfaction, and in this case, a touch up is not suggested. Your first refresher is recommended one year after your touch-up appointment.
Client’s are recommended to build their tattoo to the darkness they are happy with and to maintain from there. Most clients return for a refresher 1-2 years between visits.
If you are regularly applying make-up to your eyebrows, this is an indication that you may be due for a refresher. If you notice that your tattoo has lightened or that the shape is changing or shrinking, it is time for a refresher to get those brows back into shape.
I use high quality pigment that is created with a balanced formulation preventing the colours from shifting. I have been using the current pigments since 2018 and have noticed great results and retention.

Tattoo removal has come a long way, and there are safe, less painful, and more effective methods of removing eyebrow tattoos. Unfortunately, no. There is always a risk of infection when it comes to tattoos. For this reason, tattoos (including microblading) are not advised during pregnancy.
People should also avoid microblading if they choose to breastfeed their children. Although infections are not common, if an infections occurs, it could be passed on to the baby. We advise to wait until you’re no longer nursing before receiving this procedure.
If you're currently on prescription Accutane or have been in the last 12 months you must wait at least one year (after stopping Accutane) before considering this procedure. There is a risk of scarring with receding a tattoo while you’re on Accutane or during the first year after. Please speak with your doctor for any additional questions related to Accutane.
